This 6-part biopic on the late Kwaito
star Mduduzi “Mandoza”
Tshabalala follows his life
and times both in the music industry and family life. Mduduzi
Tshabalala, a gifted musician, popularly known as MANDOZA, gave South Africa
its biggest crossover hit in the modern era, Nkalakatha, a Kwaito track that
would become its own national anthem. In doing so, he not only placed his imprint
on South African
pop culture but in his own way contributed to unity, and harmony among individuals, and
communities in a country still grappling with racial uncertainty.
